Birds of prey, perhaps. A sunken ship. Blue and black.
Dark pice. I love it though. Can totally relate

Gorgeous. The wings are like white, feathery flames toward the top, but in the center look more like mirror shards.

This is stunning.

Goes particularly well with the opening of Yann Tiersen's "Mother's Journey"... <3

aaaaaahhhhh so awesome. you know i love it. I don't even know what else to say about it, there's just so much to look at to keep you interested. all the shapes, the contrast between the very realistic feathers and the stylized flames/ectoplasm/smoke, it's obvious you know your anatomy and how to draw crazy realistic stuff but then it's suddenly interrupted by freaky stylization and aaah I'm probably not making any sense? But I must reiterate: it's awesome, you know i love it.

I love this. The contrast between the highly textured, naturalistic parts, and the more graphic ones really makes an impression, and at four feet square seeing this in a gallery would be incredible.

That single, liquid eye in the center, surrounded by the chaos of those nightmare birds, is all the more unsettling for its tranquility. In spite of the simplicity of the shapes that make it up, it's somehow chilling to look at.

absolutely exquisite. I like how one expects to see the wings attached to normal birds but upon closer inspection, it is anything but. really lovely piece!

Very nice, there's just so much to see! You should put a little waldo somewhere in there for people to find.
